We are a family run, Award Winning, Luxury Kennels, Dog Walking & Pet Services business with over 20 years experience in dog & pet ownership, set in beautiful surroundings on the outskirts of Boston Lincs. Our pets are an important part of our family & with the hectic lifestyles most of us have these days, we need to know they can be taken care of with all the love & affection they need when we can’t be around for them.
Thats where Always Waggy Tails comes in. It is said, nearly 35% of the UK are dog owners & the majority of us will have to use a Kennelling service at one time or another. Most dog owners we speak to don’t actually like the thought of leaving their Dog in a Kennel environment. They can be a stark, lonely place for your family member, surrounded by dozens of other dogs barking at them constantly. Not really a home from home at all.
So what makes our Kennels so special?
AMOUNT – We only have seven Kennel units meaning there’ll be an opportunity to make friends with other dogs that are also on their holidays if that’s something they would like to do but if its not, they wont be surrounded by so many others that it will feel overwhelming, daunting or intimidating.
SIZE – Each kennel unit is built to a larger size than standard meaning your dog(s) will have their own spacious ‘room’ inside to rest or sleep in, as well as an additional outside ‘run’ to stretch their legs & enjoy the scenery. There is plenty of space for the dogs to sniff, run around & play outside of their Kennels & this area is secured with 6ft high dog proof perimeter fencing.
TIME – As a small family run business, we have more time to spend with each individual dog, giving them more of a home-from-home experience, so they’re not having to spend hour after hour alone. Each day, apart from the obvious toilet breaks your family member will also get separate enrichment as well as additional playtimes/walks.
DAILY ENRICHMENT & WALKS/PLAYTIMES – The dogs that stay with us, not only have daily walks &/or playtimes but additional enrichment breaks. This could include using our extensive agility equipment, playing puzzle games, find it, using the paddling pool or sand pit. All of which can help with their mental stimulation. If more calming experiences would be more beneficial, they can try our licky mats, kongs, snuffle balls or just have some additional one-on-one human time.
NO HIDDEN CHARGES – Our prices include the time we spend with your pup! It includes the walks, the toilet breaks, the enrichment, fuss, games & the playtimes they get. In addition to these services we can also offer ‘Doggy Days out’ at an additional cost, but this would need to be booked in advance.
SAFETY – Our Kennels are built to the highest standards creating a safe & secure home from home for your pets. The Kennel block plus each individual unit is monitored by CCTV 24 hours a day for additional safety & peace of mind. We also have 6ft high dog proof fencing around the entire perimeter.
DESIGN – Our Kennels were purposely designed & built ‘side to side’ to ensure our guests aren’t constantly being watched, or woofed at! The dividing walls between each run are also solid to help to keep these face-to-face confrontations to a minimum. The top part is caging to ensure maximum air circulation & ventilation within.
FLOORING – Non slip granite tiling outside & non slip tiling inside also. These floors are cool & perfect for the dogs comfort but are also non porous, so easy to keep clean.
HEATING – Two industrial sized heaters controlled by thermostats to ensure the block stays cool in the summer & warm in the winter. The 70mm insulated refrigeration panels used in the structure of the walls & ceiling were also specially designed for this purpose.
